Leard

Susan L. C. Leard, U.E. daughter of Waldron, is involved with her father within the Eastern Kings Meeting Place website and the History Room. Born in Charlottetown, she is an Honours graduate of Souris Regional High School. In 2007, Susan graduated from the Tourism program at Holland College. She has babysat within the community, assisted in teaching peers a web design course and taught photography within 4-H. Susan has been employed as a tour guide at the East Point Lighthouse and at the Matthew & McLean Museum in Souris. She has also been employed at Branch No. 3, Royal Canadian Legion in Souris. Until April 2009 Ms. Leard resided and was employed in Moncton, New Brunswick. She has served as president of the S.A.D.D. group at Souris Regional High School and worked on her school's yearbook and prom committees. Her interests include reading, crafts, music, 4-H and school and community service. Susan has won local and provincial awards for her art, poetry and photography. She is a member of Branch No.3, Royal Canadian Legion in Souris.

Susan co-authored with her father, Burial Sites of Interesting People on Prince Edward Island.
