Prince Edward Island, although

today in this - a distinct and
beautiful place to live in, and
visit. Click on the the links to

Sheltering Sea & Sky

The Eastern Kings Meeting Place
went on-line October 5,
2004. It is a continuous
work in progress.

A child once said the Seven
Wonders of the World were
- To See, To Touch, To Feel,
To Hear, To Taste, To Laugh
and To Love
.

See the colours
Touch only with your eyes
Feel the wind
Listen to the waves
Taste the salt air.
Create sunshine with your
joy, smiles & laughter.
Show your love for earth
and your fellow man by
conserving, preserving
and protecting.

PEI, this immigrant Isle is my home
I love the land and the sea
My Island is my refuge
My Island is my strength and my source of help
My Island is colours, rust, gold, green, blue and white
My Island is her people: fishermen, farmers, musicians,
storytellers, family, friends and neighbours.
It is life, the forest, the rivers, the fields, the singing
sands, the air, the water, the smells, the tastes.
It is my past and my life.
My Island is the foundation for my future.
It is my hope and sometimes my fears.
I love my Island.
I am an Island girl.

C' ait' am bheil sealladh ri fhaicinn na 's boidhch'

from the poem Island Girl by
Sarah M. MacDonald, (1982-2005)
